The particular kind of Pentecostalism with which I became involved was mainly a product of the Latter Rain movement. As such, it included the belief that the doctrine of the Trinity was a Roman Catholic deception, an obvious violation of the Biblical teaching of God's “oneness.” I have come to see that Trinitarian teaching, besides for not being of Roman Catholic origin, actually does a much better job of taking into account all Biblical passages that talk about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and the relationship between them. In this section I include articles that explain why.
A Distortion of History An analysis of the way the pastor of our church misrepresented history in order to support his doctrine.
The Attributes of Jesus, the Son of God An article I wrote for posting on the Chapel Web site in April of 2001.
